EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, NOV. 18, 2020: The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has issued a new emergency order that enacts a three-week pause targeting indoor social gatherings and other group activities in an effort to curb rapidly rising COVID-19 infection rates. Bars and restaurants will be open for outdoor dining, carry-out and delivery only. Gyms will remain open for individual exercise with strict safety measures in place. Casinos, movie theaters and group exercise classes will be closed. Outdoor dining and parks remain open. Individualized activities with distancing and face masks are still allowed: retail shopping; public transit; restaurant takeout; and more. For additional information, please visit michigan.gov.

Art Museums & Galleries

Explore the art museums and galleries in Flint & Genesee. With a vibrant art scene, locals and visitors alike can find something to meet their artistic tastes. On the campus of the Flint Cultural Center, the Flint Institute of Arts holds the second largest collection of fine art in Michigan. The institute features rotating collections, as well as the Hot Shop with live glassblowing demonstrations and classes.
