Weather

Located in mid-Michigan, Flint & Genesee experiences all four seasons and each season brings fun activities for all. From ice skating, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing in the winter, to family gatherings at the beach and outdoor events and festivals during the summer, there is always something to do and see in Flint & Genesee. Visit one of our many orchards in the fall and pick your own pumpkin. In the spring, take in the smells of the fresh trees and flowers blooming while dining at one of our local restaurant’s outdoor patios. There is never a dull season in Flint & Genesee.

Above is the iconic downtown Flint weather ball, that sits atop the Huntington Bank building. With the weather ball, you can always know what's in store when it comes to the weather. Just keep in mind this simple poem, "When the weather ball is red, Warm temperatures are ahead. When the weather ball is blue, Cold temperatures are due. When yellow the weather ball, The weather changes not at all. When blinks the weather ball, Precipitation will fall."
