Downtown Flint

Welcome to downtown Flint – an urban foodie oasis. The restauranteurs of downtown pride themselves on their craft food and beverages. Bring your appetite – because you will need to make more than one stop.

Delight in the lobster mac & cheese at Cork on Saginaw (be sure to grab a glass of wine and a Cork cookie too!), power up with a coffee from Café Rhema or the Coffee Beanery, indulge in culinary heaven at Mott Community College’s student run Applewood Café, or grab a sweet treat at the Flint Crepe Company. Snag some smoked BBQ at Blackstone’s or a mile-high sandwich at Hoffman’s Deco Deli. Grab some unexpected and elevated bar food at Churchill’s and Soggy Bottom Bar (the nachos are a community favorite). If you prefer a more traditional bar food experience – eat like a local at The Torch Bar & Grill, one of Michigan’s best dive bars. Let us know if you find X – downtown Flint’s only speakeasy (located next to Xolo - a must stop for a taco craving) and be sure to save some room for all the options at the Flint Farmers’ Market (Middle Eastern, vegan, sushi and more! Oh my!).
