Downtown Flint
Welcome to downtown Flint – an urban foodie oasis. The restauranteurs of downtown pride themselves on their craft food and beverages. Bring your appetite – because you will need to make more than one stop.
Delight in the lobster mac & cheese at Cork on Saginaw (be sure to grab a glass of wine and a Cork cookie too!), power up with a coffee from Café Rhema or the Coffee Beanery, indulge in culinary heaven at Mott Community College’s student run Applewood Café, or grab a sweet treat at the Flint Crepe Company. Snag some smoked BBQ at Blackstone’s or a mile-high sandwich at Hoffman’s Deco Deli. Enjoy some small plate dining at 501 Bar & Grill or grab some unexpected and elevated bar food at Churchill’s and Soggy Bottom Bar (the nachos are a community favorite). If you prefer a more traditional bar food experience – eat like a local at The Torch Bar & Grill, one of Michigan’s best dive bars. Let us know if you find X – downtown Flint’s only speakeasy (located next to Xolo, specializing in Latin street food) and be sure to save some room for all the options at the Flint Farmers’ Market (Middle Eastern, vegan, sushi and more! Oh my!).
