According to an article from USA Today, 49 percent of restaurants are planning to keep outdoor seating available at least through November. This is great news for patrons because it increases the number of tables restaurants have throughout the colder season. Recently, restaurants have been running at lower capacity due to the coronavirus pandemic and outdoor options help extend service while maintaining safety precautions.

In Davison, the Agitated Grape is offering seating in outdoor igloos for guests who would prefer to dine outside.

Barley & Vine

Winter snow globes are available by reservation at this Flint Township eatery that specializes in locally sourced and locally crafted charcuterie, wine and beer - as well as regional and international favorites.

Fenton Winery & Brewery

In Fenton Township, the local brewery is keeping their beer garden and courtyard open past its normal time frame with heaters and a fire table available for warmth. The brewery also recommends bringing a blanket and hanging out in its beer garden.

Fenton Fire Hall

The local smokehouse owned by the Union Joint restaurants has outdoor options for guests with its igloo seating.

Market Tap

The Flint Farmers’ Market’s rooftop bar, Market Tap, is keeping it warm and cozy in its outdoor space with space heaters and keeping the rooftop terrace open through the winter.

Relief and Resource Co.

The local speakeasy in Fenton is extending its dining room outdoors in the alley next to the building with a heated tent to keep guests comfortable.

Signature Chop House

The Flushing steakhouse is offering seating on its outdoor patio through the cold season with a fireplace and heaters to keep customers warm.
