With Halloween ever so near, it’s time to celebrate the season and check out some seasonal offerings this weekend.

 

Evil Dead the Musical

The classic horror film “The Evil Dead” returns as a musical to the stage in Fenton from Oct. 17 to 19, having you laughing as much as you are shivering from fright.

 

Frights & Lights

Grand Blanc Parks & Recreation is holding a holiday event at Creasey Bicentennial Park on Oct. 17 featuring spooky scenes from iconic movies and shows that are sure to give you the creeps.

 

Halloween Ghosts & Goodies

Head out to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad for this annual family tradition, where the village is transformed into a spooky scene for trick-or-treaters with theming. Take a ride on the Huckleberry Railroad for an additional fee and see fun scenes of Halloween along the tracks. The event runs Oct. 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31.

 

Hocus Pocus Parking Lot Party

Turn the Page bookstore in Davison invites fans of the film “Hocus Pocus” out for an outdoor screening on Oct. 17. Bring a chair, a blanket, and the family for this fun evening.

 

Ghostbusters” (1984) with Live Shadowcast

There will be plenty of ghost bustin’ at the FIM Capitol Theatre on Oct. 18 as the creepy classic movie “Ghostbusters” is shown with a live shadowcast from Wandering Lantern Productions.

 

Flint Association of the Deaf Halloween Bash

The Flint Association of the Deaf invites revelers to their annual Halloween party at their Flint headquarters. There will be a costume contest, food, door prizes, and more.

 

Haunted Bike Tour

Based on stories from the book “Haunted Flint,” this bike tour will feature landmarks that are said to have ghosts haunting their halls on Oct. 18.

 

Halloween Magic Show

The Flint Children’s Museum will be showcasing a Halloween-themed magic show for kids that is sure to surprise them and give them some good-natured shivers on Oct. 18.
