Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is keeping the Halloween tradition alive with Halloween Ghosts & Goodies Drive Thru. This year, instead of its traditional Halloween event, Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is hosting a drive thru experience with family-friendly Halloween displays. Enjoy some live music

Local restaurants and bars are hosting live music in Flint & Genesee in the month of October. Downtown Flint, Churchill’s Food & Spirits hosts local band The Outfit on Monday nights. Nearby, local bar Barley & Vine hosts a different band each Saturday at its location on Elms Road. Want to enjoy music from more of a distance? Attend Jazz on Wheels at the old Flint Farmers’ Market location at 420 E. Boulevard Drive every Friday night.

Find some fall crafts

On October 11, Tenacity Brewing in downtown Flint is hosting a Fall Craft Fair from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. outside on its beer garden. Craft beer and hard cider will be available to purchase during the event along with Flint’s famous Vehicle City Tacos. 

Appreciate Flint & Genesee art

The best destination for art lovers is the Flint Institute of Arts. With Michigan’s second largest fine arts collection there are plenty of works to appreciate. Visitors can also immerse themselves in the arts with the FIA’s glassblowing demonstrations hosted every Saturday and Sunday. Want to experience local art? Learn as a family

The Sloan Museum at Courtland Center is open at limited capacity with its newest exhibit: Treasure! Learn the history of treasure and treasure hunting and view real life artifacts from shipwrecks and other treasure sites. For more information, visit sloanlongway.org
