Thanksgiving brings warm feelings and thoughts of delicious meals. The stress of planning and preparing a large meal for friends and family can lessen the fun of this great holiday. Thankfully, there are several businesses in Flint & Genesee that can help make Thanksgiving less stressful and even more delicious.

Fenton’s The Laundry has a to-go menu perfect for a get-together. These are take-and-bake items; you get dinner for four and can choose many add-ons as well. Why cook when Chef Devon has crafted a menu that will have everyone wanting more?

Blondie’s Food & Spirits: Blondie’s is offering dinners that can be ordered and picked up, then reheated for dinner. The options include one offering just the sides, one with turkey and sides, and one with ham and sides. There is also a vegan meal, with vegan meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and more. Blondie’s also offers an à la carte menu for those who want to pick and choose their options.

Fenton's Ciao Italian Bistro is offering a turkey feast that serves 8-12 people and includes turkey, salad, pasta, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, soup, and bread rolls, with many extras you can add on. Order deadline is Nov. 24.

Brick Street of Grand Blanc will offer a holiday menu for patrons, including turkey and ham dinners, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Andiamo in Fenton offers three options for families: a large family feast and two small family feast options. Dinners include a Michigan fall harvest salad, rolls, stuffing, whipped potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, veggies, soup, pie, and gravy. Choose your perfect menu for a special occasion.

The Fenton Hotel Tavern & Grille will be open and serving dinner to those with reservations. They offer a wide range of dinner options, with the roasted turkey perhaps being the star of the day. One can also order fish, frog legs, holiday duckling, steak, prime rib, or something else.

Flint’s The Local Grocer offers turkey or mushroom and lentil pot pies for dinner. They also sell a large charcuterie tray, or fruit tray, shaved Brussels sprout salad, vegan cranberry sauce, roasted butternut and Brussels sprouts with sumac dressing, and pumpkin pies.

Montrose Orchards is offering heat-and-serve meals for families or individuals featuring turkey, potatoes and gravy, squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, a roll, and either pumpkin or apple pie. They are also selling homemade pies if you are looking for some dessert.

As Thanksgiving approaches, more options may become available, but this should give you some ideas for what you’ll want to do for the holiday. Wherever you get your meal or go for it, you’re sure to have a delicious dinner.
