Spend an Evening at US 23 Digital Drive-In Theater

Flint & Genesee’s US 23 Drive-In has set its 2024 opening day for Friday, May 3. It is the region’s only drive-in movie theater and one of few remaining in the state. Going to the drive-in has become an ingrained part of Americana that signifies the return of warm weather and the beginning of summer.  

For many area families, a trip to US-23 Drive-In is a tradition that dates back generations. With three screens showing double features, you are sure to get your money’s worth with a full evening of entertainment. As a nod to modern expectations, you can either hear the audio for the movie from the provided speakers or through a short-range FM station.  

As for amenities, their concession stand offers the usual – popcorn, nachos, pretzels – as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, and drinks.  

The US-23 Drive-In’s season is usually from late spring until the end of summer, taking families through the best weather months so they can get out to enjoy some movies.   

The first movies for opening week, May 3 - May 4, are –  

Screen 1: The Fall Guy (PG13) / Abigail (R) 

Screen 2: Kung Fu Panda 4 (PG) / Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (PG13) 

Screen 3: Godzilla x Kong (PG13) / Beekeeper (R) 

Gates open at 7:30pm. Movies start at dusk, around 9:05pm.
