Born and raised in Flint, Mama-Sol has been involved in the area’s arts and music scene for decades, bringing people together through the rhythm of her words. She is a poet, spoken-word artist, hip-hop performer, and inspirational speaker who regularly shares her story and that of the people of the city. Having served as the voice of the Detroit Pistons for its “We Hustle Different” campaign and as an inspirational speaker, she has become a voice for the passion of Flint.

Flint is home to fashion events such as the 810 Fashion Shows, the Fashion Against Bullying Fashion Show, Vehicle City Fashion Week, and more. Flint is Art

Art is everywhere in Flint.
