If you’re traveling and suddenly hear descriptions of familiar sites and experiences coming from the radio, you may have just “discovered” the latest radio campaign geared toward encouraging travelers to visit Flint and Genesee County. The campaign, which is part of the state’s Pure Michigan campaign and is sponsored by the Flint-Genesee Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau, is airing across Michigan.
According to Cheryl DeFrain, Executive Director of the Regional Chamber CVB the Pure Michigan Flint & Genesee Discoveries campaign is one of many ways the Regional Chamber CVB is working to market the region to an ever-broadening range of travelers.
“We all know the wonders of our region,” said DeFrain. “But many people have no clue about the incredible attractions available in Flint and Genesee County. That’s why we started working with Pure Michigan to develop a radio promotion campaign, which is currently running in markets throughout the state. This is our invitation to encourage others to ‘discover’ our attractions, our parks and our community.”
