We’re getting into fall and now is a great time to start planning your fall décor and pumpkin carving fun. Luckily, Flint & Genesee is filled with orchards, farms and pumpkin patches with plenty of pumpkins to choose from.

Support a local farmer this year and check out these eight places you can buy pumpkins in Flint & Genesee.

Montrose Orchards

Located in the northern part of Genesee County, Montrose Orchards is known for its pumpkin selection. The family-owned orchard also has a pumpkin patch where visitors can pick out their own pumpkins. Make a day out of picking out your pumpkins with a hayride and some cider and donuts.

Spooky Trails

In Swartz Creek, Spooky Trails is all about the fun of getting spooked. However, before the trails become haunted at night, families can enjoy a fun hayride on the 122-acre farm and pick some pumpkins. Pumpkin picking starts in October, plan your trip now!

Porter’s Orchard

This Goodrich orchard is turning 100 years in 2021 and is still serving the community with fresh apples, cider, donuts and – you guessed it – pumpkins! Porter’s Orchard fall fun includes hayrides, a corn maze and u-pick pumpkins.

Apple Lane Orchard

On Center Road in Flint, Apple Lane Orchard has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for sale at its farm store including apples, corn, peaches and, of course, pumpkins. The local farm stand is also selling mums and other fall-type décor.

Little Pumpkin Patch

In Grand Blanc, the Little Pumpkin Patch has rows and rows of various sized pumpkins for sale. The pumpkin patch located on Fenton Road will start selling pumpkins on September 20 and is open all day, however, it is recommended that visitors come during the day to see everything the property has to offer including plenty of cute farm animals.

Flushing Farms

On the west side of Genesee County, Flushing Farms is filled with fall fun. Admission to the farm allows visitors a variety of experiences including three corn mazes, a pick your own pumpkin patch, inflatable obstacle courses, a petting zoo, hay wagon and barrel train rides and a complimentary glass of cider and a donut.

Starrs Lakeview Farms

Located on Linden Road in Fenton, Starrs Lakeview Farms sells a variety of fruits and vegetables and sells pumpkins and other fall décor including hay bundles and mums during the fall. The local stand is cash or check only, so make sure you come prepared!

Koan's Orchard

In Flushing, Koan's Orchard offers a wide selection of pumpkins for seasonal decor and carving. The orchard also sells a variety of fruits and vegetables including over 25 varieties of apples.
