Located in Mundy Township, the US 23 Drive-In Theater is one Michigan's few remaining drive-in theaters. And, later this week, the local landmark will officially open its gates for the 2022 season.

According to a Facebook post, the theater will be open only on Fridays and Saturdays for the time being. It will then move to a seven-day schedule starting Memorial Day weekend.

The first weekend will kick off with double features on each of the three screens:

  • Screen 1: The Bad Guys / Sing 2
  • Screen 2: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 / The Lost City
  • Screen 3: Morbius / Spider-Man: No Way Home

Admission includes two feature films and is priced at just $11 per adult and $7 per child.

Although movies start around 9 p.m., visitors are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and parking spots are first-come, first-served.
