Motorcycles will fill downtown Flint this weekend as Bikes on the Bricks returns for its 17th year. There’s more to do in the area as corn mazes open for the fall, and a tour of local cemeteries offers a glimpse into the area’s history.

Bikes on the Bricks is back for another year of fun this weekend, Sept. 5 through 7. The event will feature a police motorcycle course practice and competition, a bike show on Sunday, a pinup contest, a police-escorted ride, a beer tent, live music, food, and much more. Whether you have a motorcycle or just love bikes and their culture, this is a weekend packed with things to see and do in downtown Flint.

Fenton’s Spicer Orchard Corn Maze has opened for the fall and will be open September through Halloween. At Spicer’s, guests can check out the corn maze, visit the farm animals, take a wagon ride, see the tractor museum, and children can enjoy the playground.

If you are looking to learn more about the area’s rich history, sign up for the Flint Historic Cemeteries Tour led by Flint City Bike Tours. This will be a two-and-a-half to three-hour tour led by Professor Thomas Henthorn from the University of Michigan-Flint, who will guide a walk through Glenwood Cemetery.

Art lovers can check out the new murals going up in the city of Flint during the Free City Mural Festival, which goes through Sept. 8. Head to the Flint Public Art Project’s Facebook page for more information on the murals, artists, and where to find them.

Lastly, you can also stop by Good Beans Café to check out live music during GoodStock on Sept. 6 in Carriage Town. There will be live music, vendors, food, drinks, and lots of fun at this free event, which runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
