The Flint & Genesee Convention & Visitors Bureau will be among hundreds worldwide working to catch the attention of association executives during the 2015 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition on August 8-11 in Detroit.
The Flint & Genesee CVB booth will be in the main expo hall at Cobo Center, but the conference is spread across Detroit in what is commonly referred to as the “Super Bowl of Conventions.” More than 5,000 association executives are expected to attend.
“ASAE is the big one,” said CVB Director Cheryl DeFrain. “We will be marketing Flint & Genesee to the entire world. There’s nothing bigger than ASAE when you consider its potential for future conventions, hotel bookings and visitor traffic.”
ASAE – the American Society of Association Executives – represents more than 21,000 association executives and industry partners representing more than 9,300 organizations. Its members manage leading trade associations, individual membership societies and voluntary organizations across the United States and in nearly 50 countries around the world.
The Flint & Genesee CVB will be among several from Michigan with booths in this year’s conference, the first one ever held in Michigan. Other booths participating include China, Dubai and large cities throughout the U.S.
The CVB supports Flint & Genesee for all tourism needs including, but not limited to, lodging, motor coach tours, conventions, sport activities, reunions, weddings, car shows and clubs, and individual tourism.
