Festival season in Flint & Genesee is in full swing, and that means the fun has only just begun.

Enjoy this fun annual festival featuring an expo tent, food, carnival rides, a mobile zoo, and mechanical bull riding.

 

Jun. 1| Western Weekend at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad

Put on your finest western wear and enjoy a weekend full of frontier fun for the family.

 

Jun. 3 and Jun.10| Pop-Up Photography Tours

Take a photography tour of downtown Flint and stretch your artistic muscles as you try out different styles, techniques, and more while walking around downtown Flint.

 

Jun. 3| Ride the "Red Line" Bike Tour

Flint City Bike Tours leads this two-hour tour of downtown Flint’s “Red Line,” where you can learn the history of Flint’s historical redlining and housing segregation with Dr. Thomas Henthorn, Wyatt Endowed Professor of Public History. 

 

Jun. 4 - 8| Festival of Flags

Head to Davison for the Festival of Flags featuring food, games, rides, comedy, and more.

 

Jun. 6| 7th Annual Davison Comedy Festival

Enjoy an evening of laughter during the Festival of the Flags in Davison at this great night of comedy featuring four comedians and endless laughs.

 

Jun. 7| 59th Annual Art in the Park

Flushing’s annual art fair will be held in Riverview Park and feature artists from across the state with paintings, pottery, jewelry, yard art, and more.

 

Jun. 7| Genesee County Day at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad

Celebrate Genesee County with games, food trucks, local businesses, and more with free admission to county residents.

 

Jun. 7 and 21| Lumber City Baseball

Old-fashioned baseball returns as the Lumber City Baseball Club of Flint plays ball in Swartz Creek.

 

Jun. 8| Empowering Women in Soccer Flint Style

This clinic featuring Flint Style Soccer, Flint City AFC, and UM-Flint Women’s Soccer will offer training, mentorship, and community care with all skill levels welcome. The event features goalkeeping and skill sessions, a player wellness workshop, and more.

 

Jun. 10| Folklore for Adults with Disabilities

This free event, held at Grand Blanc’s McFarlen library, invites adults with disabilities to enjoy stories and songs.

 

Jun.10 and 24| Karaoke at the Mill Pond

Linden’s Mill Pond will be the place for this fun night featuring local singers taking the stage to sing their hearts out.

 

Jun.12| Famous Funerals Guided Tour

Glenwood Cemetery will host this event that delves into the notable burials of some of Flint’s most famous former residents.

 

Weekly, Jun. 12– Sept. 4, 2025| Fenton Concerts in the Park

Each week will feature a different musical act for this free community show. June will feature The Sarah Regal Band, 3rd Degree Burns, Soggy Bottom Big Band, and Powder Finger Detroit.

 

Jun.13 - 22| An Adult Evening of Shel Siverstein

The Flint Community Players present a collection of short plays for adults by renowned author Shel Silverstein.

 

Jun.13 - 14| Clio Summer Kickoff

Enjoy a parade, BBQ, pony express race, slip & slide for kids, bike parade, ninja course, battle of the bands, duck race, and more.

 

Jun.13 – 14| Midwest Invitational Rodeo

The fun returns with two more days of roping, riding, and western fun with this authentic African American rodeo.  

 

Jun. 13 – 15| 58th Annual Flint Art Fair Presented by the Friends of Modern Art

The Flint Cultural Center campus will be filled with art from around the region and state at this beloved annual fair. Visitors will find ceramics, glass, painting, jewelry, fiber, metal, mixed media, photography, print making, sculpture, and wood from established and emerging artists.

 

 Jun. 14| Car and Truck Show

The Davison Farmers Market will play host to this car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Jun.14| Dog Days at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad

Dogs get in on the fun at this event that celebrates these faithful companions with special appearances by Bluey and Bingo.

 

Jun.14| LAFF Pathway Paddle & Pedal Festival

This fundraising event in Linden will support the extension of a non-motorized pathway between several local cities. There will be live entertainment, vendors, workshops, kid zone, food trucks, and much more.

 

Jun.14| Pride Prom

Get dressed in your best and make your way to the Sloan Museum of Discovery for some dancing, tabletop games, and fun with your friends.

 

Occurring weekly Jun.17 – Aug. 5| Swartz Creek Fine Arts 41st Annual Summer Concert Series

This free concert series occurs Tuesdays through the summer, and June will feature music from Magic w/Don Gaston and Itchycoo Park.

 

Jun. 18 – 22| Flushing SummerFest 2025 - "Beach Bash Bonanza"

Featuring a carnival midway, parade, live music, and fun for the whole family.

 

Jun. 19| Flint Juneteenth Celebration

This community gathering celebrating Juneteenth will be held at Max Brandon Park with a parade and community gathering.

 

Jun. 21 – 22| Curious at Crossroads

Summer is a great time for a chill up your spine and this event will feature vendors, artists, writers, and more to celebrate all things spooky with special guest Tony Moran (one of the actors who played Michael Myers in the original “Halloween”) on hand for autographs.
