Easter is April 4 this year and in Flint & Genesee there are a number of things to do to help get celebrate the day.
From outdoor activities to Easter brunches, here are the events you can participate in this Easter weekend.
Decorate a Cupcake
Hosted by Little Suga’s in the Flint Farmers’ Market Elga Credit Union Demonstration Kitchen, the 2nd Annual Little Chef Easter Cupcake Decorating Class is a great, fun event for children ages 5 – 12. Each child in attendance will have to opportunity to decorate an Easter-themed chef hat, cupcakes and Rice Krispies treats. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
Dine out for Easter
A number of restaurants in Flint & Genesee are serving Easter brunch and/or dinner on April 4. Places include Cranberries Café in Goodrich, Cork on Saginaw in downtown Flint, Andiamo in Fenton, Sauce Italian American Kitchen in downtown Flint and the Laundry in Fenton.
Attend an Easter Egg Hunt
There are a few places in Flint & Genesee hosting Easter egg hunts in the area. Lakeview Community Church in Goodrich is holding a free event on Saturday, April 3 and New Life Christian Fellowship in Grand Blanc is hosting an event on Saturday, March 27. Also, for those with four-legged children, The Four Paws Hotel and Day Resort in Grand Blanc is hosting a dog-friendly event on Monday, April 5.
