The Fourth of July is a time for family, friends, and most of all, celebrating the birth of the United States of America, and Flint & Genesee has several great events happening to mark Independence Day.

 

Fenton will host the 2025 Fenton Freedom Festival, with the fun happening downtown and at Silver Parkway. There will be a parade, a run/walk, and ski show, and everything will culminate with a fireworks show that evening.

 

At Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, there will be an Independence Day Celebration that will fill you with patriotic pride. The fun day will feature an ice cream social and historic displays of American pride.

 

Clio’s Spaniola Farm will be hosting their 12th Annual 4th of July Bonfire & Party with a bounce house, bonfire, and fireworks to end the evening.

 

In Flint they will be holding the FIM Holiday Celebration & 10th Annual Flint Water Festival in the downtown Flat Lot at the corner of Saginaw Street and First Street. The event starts at 7 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. and will feature the USL Flint City Bucks “All Stars” Pickleball exhibition, as well as open play. There will also be a carnival midway with a variety of rides, the Soak City Splash Park, and the evening will end with a fireworks display. One of the great features of this festival will be a Bruno Mars tribute band, Uptown Funk.
