Enjoy Swartz Creek’s Hometown Days This Weekend

Set your navigation to Swartz Creek this weekend for a local tradition as Swartz Creek Hometown Days returns. The festival runs from May 29 to June 1 and will feature fun for the entire family.

On May 29, the carnival will be closed to the general public but available for special needs community members who have registered.

Along with the carnival there will be a large expo tent, a variety tent featuring live performances and special events, a parade on the 31st, a fireworks display on the 30th, a mobile zoo, car show, mechanical bull riding, and much more.

With a weekend of nice weather ahead, it’s a great time to enjoy Swartz Creek and Hometown Days.

If you are looking for something else to do this weekend, you can also head to Flint for the 5th Annual Flint Soap Box Derby. Happening at Chevy Commons on May 31, the soap box derby kicks off a summer of STEM Camps in the area and offers a chance to cheer on the racers in this great local event.
