JUNE

June 10-14| Flushing SummerFest 2026

This year’s theme for SummerFest is the celebration of America’s 250th birthday, with a parade, carnival, live music, family fun, and a beer tent.

 

June 12 & 13| Midwest International Rodeo

The rodeo returns with a celebration of Black cowboy culture. You’ll find competitions in steer wrestling, ladies' barrel racing, relay races, bull riding, and more.

 

June 12, 13,17 and 24| Flushing Area Concerts in the Park

Catch Zang on June 12, Klay N’ the Mud on June 13, Weekend Comeback on June 17, and Trixy Tang on June 24 in downtown Flushing.

 

June 13 & 14| 59th Annual Flint Art Fair Presented by the Friends of Modern Art

Head to Flint’s Cultural Center to view and purchase art from around the region, featuring painting, yard art, crafts, and photography, to name a few styles you’ll see.

 

June 13| 5th Annual Mott Fest

This neighborhood festival will have live music, vendors, food trucks, a bounce house, and a beer garden.

 

June 13| Celebrate America 250

Shea Automotive Group celebrates the nation's birthday at this fun, free event featuring a parade, food trucks, and daytime fireworks.

 

June 16, 23, 30| Clio Amphitheater 2026 Summer Tribute Series

In June, you can catch tribute acts from the Icons of Country tribute, the Epic Eagles tribute, and SHOUT! Beatles tribute.

 

June 20| 54th Annual Traditional Flint Juneteenth Celebration

Enjoy music, arts and crafts, vendors, and food trucks at this community celebration.

 

June 23| Karaoke at the Mill Pond and Food Truck Fun

Enjoy live music and food trucks at the Mill Pond as area singers take the Gazebo stage to sing the hits.

 

June 24| Concerts in Physicians Park

June 27-28| 54th Annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair

The annual auto fair heads out to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad, featuring live music and dozens of classic cars in the historic village.

 

JULY

July 3| Clio Fireworks & Family Fun Day

This community celebration will feature fireworks, live music, games, and food trucks.

 

July 4| FIM 4th of July Celebration

Head to downtown Flint to celebrate the 4th of July with music, a carnival, splash park, pickleball, and fireworks to end the evening.

Aug. 8| 14th Annual Flint Drop Fest - 8o8 Free Music for the People

The state’s biggest free electronic festival is back for another year of music, art, food, vendors, fashion, and a car/truck/motorcycle show.

 

Aug. 15| Back to the Bricks - Main Event Saturday Show

Back to the Bricks returns for another summer of classic cars and fun, with a week’s worth of community events leading up to the main show on Saturday, the 15th.

 

Aug. 21 & 22| 17th Annual Kiwanis Art In the Park

Swartz Creek’s Art in the Park will feature two days of art at this free event.

 

Aug. 21 & 22| 49th Annual HAP CRIM Festival of Races

Hit the bricks and take part in Flint’s racing tradition as people of all ages and abilities challenge themselves and chase the blue line.

 

Aug 22 & 23| Flint Brick Convention - LEGO Fan Event

Lego fans will want to head to Dort Financial Center for this two-day celebration of the popular building blocks.

 

Aug. 24-30| The Ally Challenge Presented by McLaren PGA Golf Tournament

The Ally Challenge will once more bring a field of established golf stars and rising players to Grand Blanc, along with a community concert and plenty of fun for the family.
