Sloan Museum of Discovery is presenting its annual auto fair this weekend, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy the start of summer.

The 53rd Annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair, happening this Saturday and Sunday, is a celebration of classic cars and car culture. The event is one that can take a full day to appreciate, but allows visitors to take in as much as they have time for. Whatever style or era you favor, you’ll find representation. This year’s fair theme is “Rare Rides,” and you’ll find plenty of those front and center.

There is more to do than just admire the cars, as there will be make-and-take model cars for the kids, door prizes, a tractor parade, and the band 3rd Degree Burns will be playing on both days.

If you are still in the mood to car gaze, you can head to the downtown Flint Flat Lot for the Trendsetta's Corvette Club Car Show. This event will also be held on Saturday, June 28, and gather dozens of Corvettes from all eras together for the show, offering you the opportunity to take a walk through the history of this American sports car.
