Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) is a public/private initiative developed by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) that helps connect local and global purchasers to suppliers of Michigan goods and services.

PMBC engages in numerous activities that seek to provide Michigan companies additional access to purchasers, engineers, designers and others in a variety of industries. A key avenue for building B2B connections are PMBC Matchmaking Summits, which are held approximately 30-35 times annually in communities throughout the state. These Matchmaking Summits identify purchasers needing immediate supply-chain assistance and work proactively to connect them efficiently and effectively with the best-suited Michigan companies relative to those demands. The objective is to help develop new and long-lasting business partnerships that benefit all parties. These opportunities, offered on behalf of PMBC and the MEDC are available only to Michigan businesses.

The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce has created a portal on its website help members and economic development clients get registered and stay abreast of the Matchmaking Summits. To access, go to flintandgenesee.org/economic-development/pmbc.

Sign up for a profile on the MEDC’s searchable B2B database to partner with PMBC and strengthen the Great Make State of Michigan. Signing up for an account provides you access to current and future summits by adding your information to PMBC’s email distribution, and also allows companies to find your corporate information, as they seek qualified State of Michigan support for their most pressing procurement needs.
