Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Flint & Genesee

From Monday, Sept. 15, to Wednesday, Oct. 15, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to honor the contributions and achievements of Hispanic culture to our society. Consider visiting one of Flint & Genesee’s many amazing Hispanic-owned businesses to celebrate Hispanic heritage this month.

Nuevo Vallarta # 2

The second Nuevo Vallarta location is on Hill Road and offers delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine that will have everyone asking for seconds.

Soriano’s Restaurant 

Located in downtown Flint, Soriano’s is a great place to stop for lunch or for a nice dinner. With happy hour specials and delicious food, they are a great option for anyone looking for lunch or a night out.

Steady Eddy’s Market Cafe 

Steady Eddy’s is known for its great, filling food – especially their vegetarian and vegan options. Located in the Flint Farmers’ Market, they will serve a meal that will leave you happy and full.  

Mexicrunch, LLC 

This food truck is always busy with events in the area and offers nachos, walking tacos, gorditas, emp-adillas, and churros, among other delicious treats.

This restaurant specializes in barbecue fusion and offers a food truck that frequently appears at community events, as well as a restaurant located in the University of Michigan-Flint Pavilion.

This hub of support offers programs, language services, and special events. They work to support the community and meet its needs, helping individuals grow and become resilient.
