The holidays are coming up quickly and at the end of the line is New Year’s Eve, a night to celebrate the old and welcome in the new.

In Flint & Genesee, there are a variety of places around the county where individuals can go and ring in the new year. Here are the events happening on December 31.

New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball

The Burton Eagles Aerie #3814 is hosting a Masquerade Ball New Year’s Eve party. H’ors d’oeurves and a midnight champagne toast are included in the $20 ticket price and a contest will be held for the best masquerade mask. Detroit Audio Force will also be playing from 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Family New Year’s Party

Rollhaven is hosting a family event to help ring in the new year. The $20 admission includes stake/blade rental, arcade games, party favors, unlimited pizza and soda, a candy scramble and a balloon drop. For $10, spectator adults can join and indulge in the unlimited pizza and soda.

2021 New Year’s Resolution Race

Kick-off the new year right with Bauman’s Running/Walking Shop. Proceeds from the event support Crim Adult Training Program Scholarships helping spread the joy and health walking and running bring. The race begins at 10 a.m. on New Year’s Eve at the Downtown Flint YMCA.

Storm the Masses Rocks Cobblestone

In Grand Blanc, Cobblestone Bar & Grill is hosting Storm the Masses on New Year’s Eve night. Come enjoy amazing food and music to rock in the new year.

New Year’s Eve with Big Medicine

At Sherman’s Lounge in Flint, Big Medicine is rocking out with live music to ring in the new year.

Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve Party with Enjoy Now

In Flint, Barley & Vine is hosting a Roaring 20’s themed New Year’s Eve event with live music from Enjoy Now. The event also includes a champagne toast, your choice of an appetizer, a photo booth, a balldrop breakfast buffet and a best-dressed costume contest. Tickets are $30 a person and are available at the restaurant.
