St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday and there are plenty of ways to celebrate the day in Flint & Genesee. From concerts to a 1/2K Draft Dash, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some of the ways you can celebrate the holiday:

Race to the kegs

Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a 1/2K run (about 1/3 of a mile) at the Kegs & Eggs Party at the Flint Farmers’ Market. The event also includes a traditional Irish breakfast from Steady Eddy’s and drinks from Market Tap.

Take a step back in time

Celebrate the holiday on Saturday at the St. Patty’s Parlor Party at Stockton House Museum. Tickets include food and drinks, trivia, parlor games and live music.

Rock out in Flint

Enjoy some Celtic Rock at the Buick City Event Center as Gaelic Storm graces the stage St. Patrick’s Day night. The nationally touring band is playing one night only at Flint’s newest music venue.

Brunch at a local brewery

St. Patrick’s Day morning at Tenacity Brewing, Vehicle City Tacos is serving brunch featuring a corned beef breakfast burrito. Fenton Winery and Brewery will be celebrating all weekend finishing with a St. Patrick’s Day Brunch & Party with Mimosa and Red Eye specials.

Go the traditional route

Many restaurants and bars have drink and food specials on St. Patrick’s Day, including Cork on Saginaw, Bink’s Trapper Joes and Hank and Don’s.
