The holidays are right around the corner. Starting in November, at least seven holidays fall between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. That means there are plenty of opportunities to gather with friends and family to celebrate.

In Flint & Genesee, there are several places you can rent to host an event or gathering. Here are five unique places to host a holiday party in Flint & Genesee.

Fenton Winery & Brewery

Located in the southern part of Genesee County, Fenton Winery & Brewery has multiple event spaces perfect for various-sized gatherings. Its banquet hall, separate from the main taproom, is perfect for larger holiday parties, weddings and other large events. Its Barrel Room located off the taproom is great for events under 50 people and would be perfect for a small holiday party.

Café Rhema

In downtown Flint, the local 1920’s themed coffee shop has a unique space for events. The café’s lounge seats up to 50 guests with red velvet and chandelier features. It is perfect for a party, event or business meeting and is also equipped with a full stage and house sound and lighting for concerts or performances.

The Laundry Room

In Fenton, the Laundry Room is a venue operated by the Laundry for private events and meetings. The space works well for various events and seats a maximum of 70 guests. The local venue also serves up food from the Laundry’s menu and those who rent the venue can add a full-service bar as well.

Goggins Hall

Recently renovated, the old Flushing City Hall now serves as an event venue for weddings, parties, meetings, conferences and more. The beautifully restored building accommodates up to 125 guests and includes a balcony and stage.

Flint Institute of Arts

Located in the Cultural Center in Flint, the Flint Institute of Arts is a great place to host an event. With various spaces to rent, including Isabel Hall it could be the perfect spot for your holiday party. The museum is also the second largest fine arts museum in the state with beautiful works of art, a café, the Hot Shop and a museum store.
