The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved more than $25 million in Disaster Assistance Loans for residents and businesses in Michigan affected by the severe storms and flooding experience in August. Flint & Genesee homeowners and businesses must file loan applications for physical damage by Monday, November 24.

Funding is available to cover uninsured losses related to storms between August 11 and 13. To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, applicants must register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by mobile device at m.fema.gov or by calling (800) 621-3362. Applications are available through the SBA Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Applications can also be downloaded at www.sba.gov/disaster.
