Michigan State University Economist Charles Ballard will present his 2012 economic forecast – Michigan’s Economy:  Past, Present and Future at Baker College of Flint on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  The event, which is co-sponsored by Baker College of Flint and the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce takes place in the Baker College auditorium.

Ballard holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and is the director of the State of the State Survey for MSU’s Institute for Public Policy and Social Research.  He also has served as a consultant with the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Health & Human Services and Treasury, as well as research institutes in Australia, Denmark and Finland.
