The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and McLaren Health Care recently signed an agreement creating the largest cancer research and provider network in Michigan. The network will expand access to advanced cancer care throughout the state.
Both entities will retain their current names, however Karmanos will join the nonprofit McLaren Health Care network and McLaren will invest in facilities and research for Karmanos. Through the new agreement the McLaren Cancer Institute will become the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
