(FLINT, MICHIGAN – September 30, 2014) On Thursday, October 2 the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will present 4 Steps to Government Contracting Success. The seminar takes place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the the Thumb Area Michigan Works in Marlette in Sanilac County.
According to Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Chamber there are four keys to success in government contracting. He says that businesses should consider learning how government contracting can increase growth and diversification.
“Learning the 4 key steps to government contracting is the best way to explore growth opportunities,” said Frigy. “The workshop will reveal the nuts and bolts of navigating the government contracting process. By outlining how to prepare, register, research and submit government contracting proposals, businesses can position themselves to successfully work with government departments on the local, state and federal level.”
Attendees also will learn about the services and support the Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. The series will benefit management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.
There is no cost to participate in the workshop, but registration is required. The Thumb Area Michigan Works! is located at 3270 Wilson Street in Marlette.
