Are you a high school junior or senior interested in pursuing a career path in the hospitality industry?

Good news: The largest hotel in Detroit is opening its doors for student tours on Tuesday, March 21.

As part of the 2017 Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference on Tourism, the 1,298-room Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center will introduce student visitors to staff and operations in three key areas:

  • Culinary/Kitchen/Banquet
  • Front Desk
  • Housekeeping

The Flint & Genesee Convention & Visitors Bureau will provide transportation to and from Detroit for students participating in the event, with plans to depart Flint around 8 a.m.
