(FLINT, MICH. – November 12) Are you interested in learning how to work with the State of Michigan?  Then consider participating in the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) webinars designed to help local businesses learn how to contract with the state.  State Contracting Opportunities 3.0 takes place on Wednesday, November 13 and Elements of a State Proposal on Wednesday, November 20, both from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The two webinars combine to provide the steps necessary to pursue contracting with the State of Michigan.

Dustin Frigy, Director of the Chamber’s PTAC says the webinars are part of the 5-part certification series being offered for the final time this year to help businesses take advantage of the growth opportunities available through government contracting.  He says the series provides all the nuts and bolts needed to diversify through government contracting.

“Working with the State of Michigan can open doors,” said Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Chamber. “These webinars provide the tools needed to pursue contracting with the State of Michigan.  Any business looking for a way to grow should consider government contracting.”

Attendees also will learn about the services and support the Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. The series will benefit management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.

The next certification seminar takes place on December 4 and will focus of Flint & Genesee Contract opportunities.
