The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates for the following open position:
Communications & Public Relations Manager -- The individual selected for this position will be responsible for all aspects of media relations, event planning, and managing, editing and writing for Chamber communications channels.
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field and/or three to five years of direct experience required. Strong writing skills with experience in journalistic style, and speech writing also required. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills, and good business acumen required. Intermediate knowledge and skill with technology required (including but not limited to personal computers, desktop or electronic publishing systems, and scanners).
Salary: Commensurate with applicant experience.
