Whether you’re looking for a few fun staycation options of your own or you need a handy guide to send to far-away family or business clients, the 2015 SEE Visitors Guide & Membership Directory has you covered. And, for the first time, the guide is also available as a free mobile app.

The visitors guide, “SEE: Your Guide to Flint & Genesee,” is an annual publication of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce. This year’s edition is available in three different formats: the traditional print version, an interactive digital magazine and as a mobile app.

It features all the staples that readers have come to expect: the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory, a comprehensive calendar of events, in-depth articles about new development and business throughout Flint & Genesee, and much more.

“Whether you’re looking for something to do on the weekend or want to try a new restaurant or even read about the resurgence of economic development in Flint & Genesee, it’s all in there,” said Sherry Tompkins, Director of Marketing for the Flint & Genesee Chamber. “And now with the mobile app, you’ve got it all right at your fingertips – anytime, anywhere.”

The 80-page SEE magazine is a comprehensive guide to Flint and Genesee County, with details about services, recreation, culture, attractions and events. The free guide is available at the Chamber’s downtown Flint office, at the Convention & Visitors Bureau booth in the Flint Farmers’ Market and at other Genesee County locations.

If you prefer your info digitally, an electronic version is again available on the Member Services/Connect section of our website, FlintandGenesee.org. Both the mobile app and the digital version – direct link http://www.harborhouse.com/digital/genesee.htm – include interactive features to enhance the user experience, such as:

  • Links to detailed information and advertisers
  • The ability to search, print and email selections
  • Video messages
  • Sharing capabilities for social media

The mobile app, also titled “SEE:  Your Guide to Flint & Genesee,” is available for free download on iTunes. You can find the app by searching terms such as “See Flint,” “See Genesee” or “Flint Genesee.” The digital publication also includes a direct link to the mobile app.
